Aruba suffers from an overpopulation of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats on the streets. You see them, you pity them and you want to help but don’t know how.
Here are ways you can contribute:
ADOPT | FOSTER | VOLUNTEER | DONATE |
Adopting a pet means responsibility, but it is one of the most beautiful things you can do for an animal in need. | Foundations are often full and don’t have space to foster animals. You can open your home to foster a pet until a home is found. | All foundations need volunteers. Always. Give a little in these times. Volunteer work is very rewarding in itself and will fill you with gratitude. | Saving animals costs money. Foundations depend solely on donations to function. Every penny you can offer helps to save our animals in need. Make a donation. You will be appreciated for this. |
The foundations that currently work hard to tackle the welfare of animals on Aruba are: Animal Rights Aruba, Suki Rescue, Animal Relief Foundation, Crijojo Trappers Aruba, Aruba Animal Shelter, Sgt. Pepper’s Friend, Luna Foundation, Nine Lives Foundation, Nisi Canis Heart of Gold Foundation, New Life for Paws Foundation, United Dogs Aruba Foundation, Turtugaruba Foundation, Aruba Birdlife Conservation, Donkey Sanctuary Aruba.
